PolyMagic
PolyMagic is a full spell-casting system with 21 spells, 6 magical schools, a mana resource, craftable staffs, and a mastery progression that rewards dedicated casting. All server-side, all vanilla-client compatible.

Start by crafting a
Spell Book — once you have it, you can learn spells and equip them for combat.
Mana System
Section titled “Mana System”Every player has a mana pool of 200 max mana that regenerates at 1 mana per tick (20/sec). Casting a spell consumes mana instantly and triggers a cooldown before you can cast again.
Mana is displayed as a boss bar above your hotbar. As you master spells, costs decrease.
Spell Book
Section titled “Spell Book”The
Spell Book is your core item. Hold it to access the spell selection wheel. Right-click to cast your selected spell. You can store multiple learned spells and swap between them freely.

🔥 Fire
Section titled “🔥 Fire”Offensive spells that deal raw damage and set targets ablaze.

Tier I Staffs
Section titled “Tier I Staffs”Crafted from base materials. Hold 100 mana, reduce that school’s spell costs by 15%.

Tier II Staffs

Nether Star . Hold 150 mana, reduce school costs by 30%, and unlock an empowered variant of the school’s ultimate spell.
Each Tier II staff requires combining the Tier I staff with a Nether Star and school-specific rare materials at a smithing table.
Spell Mastery
Section titled “Spell Mastery”Every spell tracks your usage. Each spell has 10 mastery levels, and each level grants:
- −2% mana cost (up to −20% at level 10)
- −2% cooldown (up to −20% at level 10)
Mastery is earned by casting — roughly 50 casts per level. Death incurs a mastery penalty, losing progress on your most recently used spell. Play carefully or master multiple schools as insurance.
