PolyVolley

PolyVolley adds volleyball to Minecraft with proper court setup, hit-based ball physics, flexible scoring rules, and Wallet Wallet economy integration.

  1. Build a volleyball court with a net divider and team claiming stations
  2. Players claim sides (2v2 or free-for-all depending on court config)
  3. Serve by hitting the ball over the net
  4. Rally continues until the ball hits the ground or goes out of bounds
  5. Points are awarded to the team that didn’t fault

The volleyball is a server-side entity with hit-based physics. Punch or right-click the ball to hit it in your look direction. The ball’s trajectory factors in:

  • Hit angle — where you look when you strike
  • Hit power — based on sprint state and timing
  • Gravity — the ball follows a natural arc

Courts can be configured with different scoring rules:

  • Rally scoring — every rally awards a point (default)
  • Side-out scoring — only the serving team can score
  • Custom target — play to any target score (default: 25)
  • Win by 2 — must lead by at least 2 points to win

Spectators and players can place match wagers through the Wallet system. Bets are placed before the match starts and paid out automatically when a team wins.

Volleyball courts use Volleyball Court Block Volleyball Court Block markers to define the playing field. Place markers at the four corners and one at the net center. The court auto-detects dimensions and assigns team sides.
